I LOVE ITALY

The "I Love Italy!" team is dedicated to bringing you all the professional support you need when it comes to buying and owning a property in Italy...

Gianni Poletti - UK

Heading up the "I Love Italy!" team, Gianni lived in the beautiful hills of Tuscany until his mid-20s, when he moved to the UK to run the family-owned restaurants in the historic Roman city of Chester.
Passionate about Italy – especially Tuscany and the Liguria Riviera – Gianni knows where to find the best properties that you normally won’t see advertised – and just as importantly, he’s known the people that he’s hand-picked for the “I Love Italy” team for years, regarding them as “family”.

I Love Italy respects your right to privacy - and we hate spam just as much as you, so you can rest assured knowing that we'll never rent, sell or otherwise trade your email details.

Lucia Laddaga

Mauro Chianca

Reneta Maturro

After qualifying at Naples University in the 1990’s, Renata developed her experience in property law by choosing to working on behalf of the local courts – which not only expanded her knowledge but also helped her build an enviable reputation.
Handling all of the legal requirements – including conveyancing - on behalf of “I Love Italy!” clients, Renata now has her own successful legal practice in Sarzana.
Used to handling conveyancing matters on all sizes of properties, Renata – as is customary in Italy where lawyers are expected to handle all aspects of law – also has plenty of experience of representing her clients in litigation cases.
Everyone who works with Renata comments on her thoroughness, client-focused attitude and keen eye for detail – and she’s particularly popular with her British clients, who she recognises have a particular need for security, caution and accuracy.

Lucia Laddaga - Architect

After qualifying as an architect at Naples University a decade ago, Lucia was a woman on a mission – determined to help clients build, develop and design projects which have “soul”. Recognising that in order to fulfil her ambition, she’d need to work directly with clients – rather than for a company – she set up her own business.
Believing that an architect needs to develop a space which captures the essence, feeling and spirit of the person or people who want to live in the house, Lucia has worked on projects from grand Italian country houses through to elegant apartments and a wide variety of villas. Recently, she has been involved in a project in Tuscany for extending two beautiful villages at Comune di Aulla.
And as is traditional in Italy, Lucia not only uses her skills as an architect but also gives rein to her creative flair when it comes to interior design. She loves nothing better than seeing the delight on a client’s face when they step into their new home – which has been lovingly created to reflect their contemporary, traditional or (as is currently very fashionable in Italy) “retro” taste.

Mauro Chianca – Structural Engineer

With a civil engineering degree from Naples University and 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, Mauro has had plenty of practice when it comes to managing, developing and directing projects – and therefore he was first choice when it came to appointing the right person to oversee the technical team at “I Love Italy!”.
Having worked for a number of major construction companies in Italy – including as a Director at Schiavo & S.pA - Mauro has acquired a deep understanding of the wide variety of regulations required by the different municipalities throughout the country. Passionate about property and buildings, Mauro loves nothing more than keeping abreast of all the developments within the industry – and also prides himself on keeping up with every change in legislation.
As well as his work with large organisations, Mauro also has extensive experience of managing much smaller projects for private clients, including a considerable number of family properties.
Finally, all of his clients not only appreciate his technical expertise but also admire his ability to bring projects in on time – and perhaps even more importantly, on budget.
